Dear Father in Heaven,
I don't know how to thank you for giving me parents. Thank you for letting me have them while they are still alive. I know there are lots of children who doesn't have parents beside them. Parents that will give them a warm embrace when they cry. I know some, doesn't even met their parents yet. Thank you for letting me meet my parents and be with them as I grow up.
Almighty God, I want to say that I am so sorry for taking my parents for granted. I know often times, I don't let them feel loved but like crap instead. I am so sorry. I know the word sorry isn't enough for all the things that I have done. If I could only bring back the time that I had wasted arguing with them and hurting them, I really would. I know I am a fool for treating them like that. For treating your precious gift to me like trash.
I love my parents so much. Its just that I don't know how to express love to them. I don't even know how to show it. Please help me O Lord to make beautiful memories while my parents are still on my side. Thank you for letting me have them. For without them, I won't be able to see how wonderful the world is. Thank you for giving me parents that served as my crutches when I can't stand alone. For giving me a warm embrace and a shoulder to lean on when I cry. For giving me love that I cannot find somewhere else or to anyone else. Please bless them and give them good health so that I could be with them for 30 more years. I want them to be proud of me and see me succeed for them to say "Look at her now, and the life she has. We've raised her well."
I promise to you Lord once I finished my studies and succeed. I am the one who will take care of them like they did when I was still a baby. I will love them every single day. I won't let a single minute to be wasted and let a day pass without saying I love them so much.
Sincerely Yours,
Cher

Jesus I Want to be With You, My Savior, My Friend
If I am to meet one person right now, or to meet one person before the end of the world. I would proudly choose Jesus. It has been a long time since Jesus was born. He grew as a very noble man. He is a very intelligent man and the best teacher. He explained difficult and complicated things in an easy way which everyone would understand. Jesus taught the people wherever he can find them. We can learn many things from other people but we can learn the most important things from Jesus, the Great Teacher. We can read Jesus' words through the Bible. Every time we heard those words from the Bible, we are like talking to him. The reason why Jesus became a Great Teacher is because God taught him, his Father. Jesus loves us very much. He wants to help us learn about God. He also loves children. The children love talking with him, sharing stories with him, so as Jesus. Sometimes, I wish I lived during those times, that I am one of the children who are sharing stories with him, laughing with him, and learning the most important things with him. I wish I am that child who used to talk with Jesus personally, and see him personally. Those children are really lucky to have him beside them, who can touch him, who can hug him. I really wish I was one of them. But the thing is, Jesus is now in Heaven with God, so the only way I could be with him and talk to him is through prayers and by reading the Bible.
My father told me that whenever we are talking about him, or about the Bible, he is with us, listening to our conversation. We just have to seek for his presence. I really love God and Jesus. Jesus saves us. He describes himself as a door. In using such a simple item to describe himself, Jesus makes it clear that he is accessible to all people. He is not unobtainable, set apart in the heavens and untouchable. He came to earth so that he could be near to us, to be touched by us, and to be known by us. Through him, we gain entrance into the eternal kingdom of our God. As you worship the Lord today, rejoice that he is the God who came near to us. We shouldn't keep him at arm's-length! We need to draw close to Jesus today. He longs to be close to us. That is why I want to meet Jesus, to see him, to be with him. That is why I can proudly say that I LOVE JESUS VERY MUCH.

Stations for Violations
Cavite National Science High School, a well-known school in Cavite for having a high disciplinary measure among its students. They do have their strict policies and rules that are to be observed and to be followed by the students. Each violation has its own consequences to face. The students should therefore think before they act. The teachers do not tolerate such behaviors by the students.
Every violation has its corresponding stations where the students are to be disciplined and to be taught of the lessons they should learn to every mistake they have done. First of all, this school strictly does not allow the students to be late in school. They should be at school before 6:30 am. Well, to be honest, most students cannot come to school this early due to some location matters. But this isn't a valid reason for the students to come to school late. So the late comers are gathered at the school gate to have their own flag ceremony afterwards and they are asked to make some letters to write down the reasons why they were late. I know, that some students do not take this seriously because, I used to be one of them. Each student is only given three offenses for being late. Once they exceed, their parents are to be called in the office to let them know about this matter.
The second station, the classroom. This place is where each student is being mold to become a good model for everyone. This is the place where the teachers are in-charge to take responsibilities among their students. They are the one who teaches them how to act like young ladies and men. The proper behavior. The proper etiquette. The class advisers took most of the responsibilities among their students because they are the one who talk about serious matters with the student who is having some troubles in school.
The third station is the school faculty. This is the place where the student, teachers, and the student's parents are having some a little bit of a serious kind of conversation. Well, most cases were, the student fought with the other student, or the student is caught because of cheating or stealing, things like that.
The fourth station is the Guidance Office/ the Principal's Office. In this station, this is where the students who are caught from stealing, cheating, fighting with other students, and students who have serious behavioral problems that seems the teacher cannot do anything about it are disciplined. Well, this station seems to be similar with the violations with the other stations but this station deals with very serious matters. This is where the students are sent to class suspension and sometimes even worse. The student is required for transfer or in other words expelled.

IS TEXTING RUINING YOUR ENGLISH FLUENCY?
There are many ways to communicate with other people from different places of the world. And nowadays, one of the leading communicating devices is cellphone. Most people use phone calls and text messages. But, do all people use texting wisely?
Well, teenagers of this generation are all fond of using cellphone. They spend most of their time with texting. You can even see teenagers texting while walking, eating, laying on bed and even on school during class hours. It seemingly obvious that text messaging is for people's benefits but together with these conveniences is its negative effects on people. Most people do not use texting the way it should be. They do not use correct punctuation marks, spelling, and not even paying attention to proper grammar rules. Nowadays, there are lots of jejemon coming from nowhere. They even use numbers on their words which made those words difficult to read especially for the old people and for people who use correct spelling and grammar. These people don't even know how these methods of text messaging of theirs affect their English fluency. We can simply observe it from the way they talk and the way they compose essays or paragraphs in school. It affects their language proficiency because they use 'jeje words' or 'jeje sentences' in communicating with other people especially to their 'co-jejemon'. They will eventually forget how to spell the correct words. They might have low scores in spellings too.

Sem Breeeeaaaaaaak!
I don't know how worthy my my sem break was or if it was really worthy. As far as I remember, all I did during this short vacation of ours was sleep, eat, and watch television. Honestly, I almost spent the whole day with sleeping, lying on bed and imagining things that cannot happen. Most of the time, I kept on thinking... thinking... thinking.. and thinking... I always think of what kind of person I want to be and the kind of life I want to live but usually it's about some random stuffs and stupid things I have done and thoughts that made me happy. But all of a sudden I realized how lonely I really am. This turns happy thoughts into sad ones.
And oh! I almost forgot, I also spent 2 days of this break with my church-mates during the youth camp. This was really my first time to join a camp that is not related to school activities and besides, I hate going on a camp. But I really enjoyed it. It was nice to meet such great people like them who really love God wholeheartedly. It was really a different experience to have praise and worship with them while having fun at the same time. Although I'm a bit of an anti- social person, I do overcome it because everyone is very nice and kind.
